Wine Tasting for Friday July 29thDanielle de l’Ansee Sauvignon Blanc 2015[AOC Touraine, Loire Valley, France]This wine is very fresh, fragrant, and well-balanced with lots of floral and fruity aromas. On the palate, this wine is rich and full bodied, harmoninzing freshness and fineness, followed by a supple attack of acidity. Serve chilled with raw or grilled fish, seafood, or cheese.
Sarah’s Vineyard Central Coast Chardonnay 2013[Central Coast, California](*from Wine Enthusiast)
Honey butter, vanilla bean and dried banana aromas emerge on the nose of this Chard. The palate shows seared apple slices cut with lemon juice, boosted by minerally tension and a peppery energy.Campi Valerio Calidio Rosso del Molise 2012[Molise DOC, Italy]100% Montepulciano vinified in stainless steel.A deep red wine with a bouquet reminiscent of violets, but also cherry and red fruits. The wine is dry and acidic, though harmonious and well-balanced with round tannins on the finish.
Luigi Bosca La Linda Malbec 2014[Mendoza, Argentina]
La Linda Malbec is an intense purple color red wine, with distinct aromas as a result of the typicity of the variety: marked red fruit and a very delicate floral note. It repeats its fruity intensity on the palate, with round and smooth texture, good maturity and great character. Its sweet tannins add strength on the palate, a long and lingering finish completes an elegant and compact red wine.
